Among  the distinguished membership whose pipes now rest in the Hall of Fame  are Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Anwar Sadat, Gerald R. Ford,  Christopher Morley, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, William  Faulkner, Basil Rathbone, Edward G. Robinson, Charlton Heston, General  Douglas MacArthur, General George Patton, Bing Crosby,  Norman Rockwell, Babe Ruth, Pablo Cassals, Walter Cronkite, Admiral  Richard Byrd, Buffalo Bill Cody, and Sitting Bull.
